    VP|DIRECTOR CIVIL PAVING OPERATIONS

    Job Requirements:

    • Manage multiple direct reports

    • Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc., as required

    • Manage project and personnel through pre and post construction activities

    • Estimate resources needed to complete projects

    • Oversee CPM, 3 Week and 9 Day schedules

    • Pre-costing activities of work

    • Manage job cost reports, AR and AP aspect of assigned projects

    • Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate safety program implementation

    • Monitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure All-OSHA compliance

    • Prepare and Manage Supplier PO’s and Subcontracts

    • Implement and enforce company and client safety policies

    Personal Requirements:

    • An Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering highly preferred

    • Must have extensive CDOT freeway construction experience

    • 7-10 years’ experience managing civil engineering projects and jobsite safety

    • Ability to serve as a positive leader to employees, subcontractors and other project stakeholders

    • Able to read and understand Plans and Specifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office(word, Excel, Outlook), Project, Primavera, Ineight or HeavyBid preferred

    CONSTRUCTION CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

    Job Requirements:

    • Ensure timely and cost-efficient completion of construction projects assigned

    • Review land surveys, assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans and review potential safety issues

    • Oversee CPM, 3 Week and 9 Day schedules
    • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors

    • Communicate/liaise with inspectors, owners and architects

    • Manage personnel through pre and post construction activities

    • Meet regularly with construction managers and coordinate delivery of materials with vendors

    • Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc., as required

    • Prepare progress reports and attend meetings

    • Other duties as directed by the Construction Manager

    Personal Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience preferred

    • Must be able to demonstrate project pre planning skills such as cost estimations and budgets

    • Demonstrate your negotiation skills and obtaining proper permits

    • Must be able to establish and meet construction schedules and deadlines

    CONSTRUCTION CIVIL ENGINEERING ESTIMATOR

    Job Requirements:

    • Review specifications, drawings, and proposed project site conditions to include in final project estimate

    • Review quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy of data used in estimates
    • Analyze and build estimate data that impact the cost of labor, materials, equipment, location and other factors to ensure a quality and timely estimate

    • Analyze alternative means and construction methods to increase competitiveness of a bid

    • Apply mathematical calculations to ensure estimated costs are accurate

    • Analyze risks and communicate strategies to mitigate future construction obstacles

    • Present estimate/proposal to management for review to ensure accuracy and completeness

    • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing

    • Communicate estimate bid information to field operations at pre-construction meetings to ensure understanding of project scope

    Personal Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience preferred

    • 2+ years estimating work experience preferred

    • Prior Project Manager/Engineer and quality take-off experience is a plus

    • Track, review and process Change Order Requests

    • Implement all applicable safety programs

    • Manage the preparation and executing of Project Close out documents

    • Provide administrative support to Project Superintendent

    Job Requirements:

    • Assist construction site workers in grading and underground operations

    • Interpret survey stakes and plans to provide control ahead of grading and underground operations

    • Inform the Foreman of discrepancies between the plans and site conditions

    • Collaborate with Foreman to maintain as-built drawings

    • The ability to layout with control, all excavations utilizing plans survey stakes, and lasers

    • Level concrete and earth using trowels and shovels

    • Clean up and remove debris

    • Direct and control traffic

    • Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers
